Visiting Poet Marco Gliori

This week we had a special guest at Waggrakine called Marco Gliori. He is a poet and a writer and the Year 4 and 6 students were very fortunate to be able to hear some of his poems and stories that he shared in the hall. He also assisted each class one by one to teach them to write a poem and allowed us to act out poems. To learn more about Marco Gliori go to http://www.marcogliori.com.au (article written by Kiki, Year 6)

Meet our travel Smart team

Well done to those students selected to run the Travel Smart program on Wednesday mornings. The students look great in their Travel Smart shorts. They have started off well and we have around 100 students each Wednesday taking part by walking, cycling, scooting or catching the bus to school. Don’t forget to encourage your children to participate if possible. IMG_0352IMG_0358.
