Early Childhood Network a great success

On Monday the Midwest schools combined their professional learning day. While John Willcock College was host to the majority of the sessions Waggrakine’s Teacher Development team had 90 early childhood teachers from 14 Mid West schools come together to look at how the Australian Curriculum English can be implemented and enhanced through technology. After some combined sessions the participants went off to 5 concurrents:

  • Implementing a phonics program
  • Using ipads in early childhood to enhance English
  • Making class blogs
  • A walk through of the Waggrakine early childhood rooms
  • Vocabulary Development
