Today we were inspired by a high number of key note speakers
Elise Pernstein, spoke on the worldwide issue of water, Zainab Al Suwau, spoke on empowering the women in education in post war Iraq, Diane Laufenberg spoke about the power of enabling students to learn about democracy on the ground on polling days in USA, Ninive Calagari spoke about the need to empower teachers in USA and Dr Kari Stubbs spoke on engagement of students in games based learning.
Another Key note address was by Michael Furdyk and Sara Hassan from Taking it Global and DeforestAction. Lis Turner was asked to speak with them from a school perspective and Eco Warrior Elise was able to present to the forum on her recent and emotional experience on the ground in Borneo for 20 days.
