Thanks to Microsoft Partners in Learning

Weeks 5-6, Term 4, 2010

In week 5 Lis, Jared and Kellie went to the last Microsoft forum for 2010 in Sydney. We had a fantastic time catching up with colleagues from other schools and hearing about what people are doing in their schools. We have some fantastic government schools in Australia of which we should be very proud.

In addition we were blessed with having the opportunity to visit both Silverton and Dallas Primary schools in Melbourne. Both schools have similar numbers to Waggrakine and we were treated like VIPs for both our visits. The schools were fantastic and are a true testimony to the achievements of public schooling. We were very impressed and have so much to share from this experience with our own community.

We would like to thank Microsoft, Sean Tierney, Jane Mackeral and the team for their great work, our facilitators Joan and Cheryl and of course our Western Australian support person Raechelle Lee, who have all been part of this rewarding learning journey!
